Does DNV differ from TJC with regard to having a 96 hour Emergency Operation Plan in place?
A hospital that is surveyed by DNV still needs to have an Emergency Operation Plan prepared and accessible, but it does not have to show compliance with TJC's 96-Hour Principal, which details that an organization should be able to sustain itself without community support for 96 hours and, if it is unable to do that, to have the steps that lead to evacuation planned out.
