Fire Extinguisher Inspection

For monthly fire extinguisher inspections, is TJC expecting the documentation (tag) to include: MM\DD\YY + initials, or is MM\YY + initials ok?

MM/DD/YY + initials.  If they have not been doing this have the organization begin with a memo to the safety committee that they have been doing this incorrectly in the past, and upon discovery of the issue have begun documenting correctly going forward.

At least monthly, the date the inspection was performed and the initials of the person performing the inspection shall be recorded.
